At DoorBird we have been working hard researching, developing and intensively testing ways to make life more hygienic. The result of this work is our contactless call button.
Our module allows the bell to be rung without touch, reducing viruses and germs in high use areas. The module is ideal for public buildings such as health centres or schools, but also smaller offices and institutions where hygiene requirements for staff and visitors is of greater importance.
The module features an intelligent motion sensor that uses radar technology to reliably detect when a hand is placed in front of it and with a range of 10 cm. Using a simple hand gesture, visitors can hygienically and intuitively trigger the bell and open the door. As our sensor is able to detect an object approaching, it also works in situations where you don’t have any hands free - e.g. just hold a package up in front of the sensor.
