The OPT-1x infrared adopter cable is required for IR pass-through over HDBaseT. OPT-1x connects to an RTI processor and an X-Series HDBaseT matrix switcher in order to to send IR signals from the processor to the matrix switcher which passes the IR signal through to a remote HDBaseT receiver.
